Volunteers Needed on 10/27/26 at the Middle School

Good morning!

We are reaching out to you today about an URGENT need we have for volunteers for an exciting event happening at West Perry Middle School on Tuesday, October 27th.

Junior Achievement (JA) of South Central PA will be bringing our YES! program to the school from 7:30 AM–10:50 AM. All 479 students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will participate in activities designed to help them understand the importance of the financial and career decisions they will make as young adults. Bringing this program to the entire school in one day takes A LOT of volunteers, and we need your help!
Volunteers will facilitate one activity four times throughout the morning with small groups of students. You do not need any specific background or experience to volunteer!

JA will provide training the morning of the event, and once you sign up, you will receive a link to written instructions and a brief training video to help you feel prepared. A few important details:

• No specific background or training is required.
• School clearances are not required for this one-day event.
• The school will provide a light breakfast.
• Volunteers should plan to be available for the entire event from 7:30 AM–10:50 AM.

We are still in need of AT LEAST 11 volunteers for this event. We would love for you to join us as we spend the morning impacting and inspiring our students!
